Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) organised a webinar on 19th February, 2023 (6 PM to 7 PM) on the topic “IP Commercialization and Licensing.” The speaker for the session was Ms. Sangeeta Pal who is a renowned advocate of Bombay High Court and also an IPR attorney, who presented the topic beautifully. The webinar covered the basics of IPR i.e. copyright, trademark, industrial designs etc along with the evolution of IPR and mainly the topic revolved around commercialization of IP and how with the help of licensing and deed of assignment, IP can be monetized. At the end of the session, we covered certain queries that were addressed to the speaker, quoted by the audience.
